Polynesian Luau Benefit for Miracle Families
Join us on Saturday, June 25th, 2011 for our 1st Annual Polynesian Luau Benefit from 4:00 – 10:00 P.M.
"Luau" means "family gathering" and we invite you to join in a benefit for our Miracle Families.
DINNER AND LIVE ENTERTAINMENT START AT 6:00 P.M.
Events include: Dinner, Hawai'ian Dancers, Live Music, Live Auction, Hula Lessons, Contests (kids bring your hula hoop!), Tropical Bird Exhibit, Train Rides, and Bounce House. Prizes and auction items were generously donated by local businesses and individuals.
The menu includes salads, rice dishes, tropical (non-alcoholic) drinks, desserts, and the main attraction, authentic Kalua Pork! The word “kalua” is a Hawai'ian word that refers to cooking a whole pig in a pit, underground oven or Hawaiian “imu”.
